I create paintings rooted in personal experiences drawing inspiration from time spent in the wilderness and along the coast of the Pacific Northwest. My art focuses on atmospheric and abstract landscapes, crafted with oil and palette knives as my primary tool to create movement and texture. On occasion, I will get an itch urban landscapes and shift my gears to painting modern cityscapes. My process is unique, starting with a concept and working to develop the shape of each piece. This imbues my work with an ethereal quality, reflecting a sense of visual poetry.
